Elders expands farm supplies in Waroona
Local producers in the Waroona area are set to benefit from a new partnership between Elders and Waroona Home Hardware (previously a CRT agent).
As of 1 April 2017, the new partnership will provide growers with a local, wider range of products and increased agronomic support.
James Cornish, Elders’ zone general manager – west, said the partnership drew upon the growth synergies between both businesses.
“Waroona Home Hardware has been supplying surrounding districts with farm supplies for 13 years and in this time has earned a reputation for quality service,” Mr Cornish said.
“Elders sees the partnership as a great fit for our business in the west, with great opportunities to increase our offering to local clients,” he said.
“We’re really excited to be combining our 177 years of history and experience, with the highly experienced team at Waroona Home Hardware, in line with our strategic plan for growth.”
Elders Bunbury farm supplies sales manager Matthew Trent said it will be business as usual for both businesses as they transition into the partnership.
“We anticipate that clients will be able to commence using their Elders accounts, products and services at Waroona Home Hardware from 1 April, 2017,” Mr Trent said.
This announcement comes days after Elders Bunbury announced its acquisition of Southern Districts Estate Agency, including 60 new employees.
