Second sales award highlights performance in the west
Elders farm supplies sales specialist in the West, Jeff Bruce has been recognised nationally for his high levels of sales performance not once, but twice in just a matter of years.
Taking out the national One Elders Sales Performance Award for the month, Mr Bruce has been recognised for his strong sales leadership and focus on clients, across Western Australia.
Consistent with his national award in 2013, Mr Bruce has been identified as consistently achieving above and beyond his role, liaising between fertiliser suppliers, clients and Elders branches.
Under his management, Elders’ fertiliser business in the west has grown by more than 30% in the past four years.
Mr Bruce is well known for his outstanding mentoring and motivation, particularly with new employees.
Mr Bruce said whilst the award is another feather in his cap, it is certainly a team effort from across the state that drives results.
“Our key focus has been to ensure everyone in the West is aware about the direction of our farm supplies offering, particularly our fertiliser strategy,” Mr Bruce said.
“I’m also very focussed on delivering outcomes that are at an advantage for both Elders and our clients,” he said.
“With grain prices depressed, our clients have to cut costs and we need to make our offer relevant to their business needs.”
Mr Bruce said his background in fertiliser and banking are a great cross-set of skills that support him in achieving success in his role.
Over the next 12 months, Mr Bruce said the farm supplies team are looking forward and focused on maintaining consistent tonnage throughout the state.
Mr Bruce’s award provides the opportunity to attend the Elders annual awards night in Adelaide this December, and puts him in the running to win the overall national sales award amongst other high-performers from across the country.
