Annual Elders Real Estate Conference hits the top end
Over 170 real estate professionals converged in the Northern Territory to celebrate a stellar year of achievements, share ideas, challenges and experiences and meet new people from across the Elders network at the annual Elders Real Estate Conference.
Held in Darwin, the two day event focused on wellness and taking the time to reflect and acknowledge each other’s experiences.
General Manager real estate, Tom Russo presented the growth of the real estate business since last year’s conference. Through acquisitions and new franchisees, Elders Real Estate has an additional 15 locations, with a 25% increase in the sales force.
As part of Elders Real Estate’s digital strategy, the Company has announced a national competition to drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and importantly, generate local leads for agents.
The competition will run until the end of October and provide potential clients with the opportunity to win a $15,000 holiday experience, by registering and receiving a sales or rental appraisal.
“We’re focused on increasing tools available to our network of agents through enhancing our marketing and using a more tailored approach through local integrated campaigns.
“Our digital presence is constantly growing and new clients are becoming aware of our capabilities, technology, people and overall offering,” he said.
Elders national marketing manager, real estate – Belinda Connor launched a new suite of marketing materials for the Elders Real Estate network, bringing a new fresh look and feel to the brand.
“Our new look compliments our history, local knowledge and emphasises our experience within the market place on a national level. We’re really excited for our clients to see it as it is rolled out over the coming weeks,” Mrs Connor says.
Elders Real Estate has been servicing the wider Darwin area for more than 10 years. With a footprint across four key locations, the team continues to outperform the ebb and flow of the evolving Darwin property market.
“The work being done by the team in Darwin has not gone unnoticed by the wider business. It was the perfect venue for Elders’ 2017 National Real Estate Conference in Darwin, showcasing the local market and the team’s success, to our entire rural and residential network of agents,” Mr Russo said.
Key influencer and Beechworth Bakery pioneer, Tom O’Toole, demonstrated the need for a high level of customer service and said “the product is just the same as everyone else’s, it’s the people that make the difference!” at this year’s conference. Realestate.com.au’s head of innovation, Nigel Dalton gave an insight into the future of technology and the landscape of real estate over the next ten years, with a warning not to get left behind.
The event concluded with a standing ovation for the inspirational Turia Pitt, who encouraged the audience to overcome challenges, adapt to change, break negative thoughts and reach the next level of success.
