Golden relationships at Elders Broken Hill
Elders Broken Hill’s Hayley Brown has won the company’s national award for sales performance, attributing this to good customer service and the branch’s comradery.
Ms Brown, sales support officer, has been with Elders for two and a half years following a move from the Northern Territory. The role encompasses servicing banking clients from around north east South Australia, south west Queensland and the far west of New South Wales.
The One Elders award was presented to Ms Brown for her contribution and achievement of retaining the title of number one farm management deposit branch within the Elders network, through her regular checks of balances and budgets, and her attention to detail when it comes to the needs of clients.
Ms Brown has been known to say the clients are “gold” and explains that good customer service is based around strong relationships with clients and “good old fashioned country friendliness.”
“I genuinely love being around people and hearing about their experiences. I think that’s the beauty of working so closely with our clients, you build and form relationships with them which are second to none, which makes fostering these relationships like second nature,” she says.
“The award really means a lot, and to be recognised for all the little extras that go into ensuring our clients are well looked after is certainly rewarding,” Ms Brown said.
Ms Brown will also have the opportunity to attend the Company’s annual awards in Adelaide, held in December and will be eligible to win the overall award for 2016.
