Local Jimboomba cattle producer wins Holden ute with Elders
Local Jimboomba cattle producer, Terry Ryan, is overjoyed after winning a Holden Commodore SV6 ute, just by making purchases at his local Elders branch at Beaudesert.
Terry, an Elders client since the mid-1980s, received an entry in the draw after purchasing animal health and cropping products in August and September.
“I am not a lucky person and never win anything so to win this prize is wonderful,” Mr Ryan said.
“I have been loyal to Elders over the years, using them for all my cattle and insurance needs, and this is a great example of how loyalty pays off,” he said.
Clients who made a qualifying transaction* on their trading account throughout the promotional period were automatically entered into the draw for a chance to win one of the iconic Australian-made vehicles, valued at $43,000 including on road costs.
Elders Beaudesert Livestock Production Sales Manager, Mark Meldrum said Elders are committed to producers and it was great to assist a loyal customer.
“The Aussie ute is an essential tool of the trade when it comes to life on the land and it is great that Elders can now help a farmer in their business, just by buying the supplies they need,” Mr Meldrum said.
“It’s particularly nice to be able to offer a long-term loyal client one of these great prizes to help them with their cattle business,” he said.
Mr Ryan said the ute was “too good to just run around the farm” and he will use it to drive into town to buy supplies for the farm and other errands.
*Qualifying transactions could be made through purchasing farm supply products, selling livestock or wool, new Rural Bank loan or deposit account or listing a property
