Award dedicated to team contribution

Elders Tumut and Adelong’s senior sales support officer, Hannah Speers has been commended with the Company’s 2016 One Elders Operational Performance Award, for her dedication to training, service to clients and contribution to the community.

Ms Speers attended the 2016 One Elders Awards dinner in Adelaide last night and was presented with a trophy, certificate and prize money for her outstanding efforts.

“It is such an honor to receive the One Elders Operational Performance Award and attend the awards night. The awards demonstrate the Company’s commitment to recognising support staff who service both our Elders customers, and internal clients with such commitment and passion,” Ms Speers said.

Having previously won a One Elders Award for safety, Ms Speers has continued to go over and above in her role. Now training all new sales support officers across the Riverina and into Elders’ Northern Zone with onsite visits, she strives to ensure everything is as efficient as possible throughout her local branch network.

Responsible for managing all livestock transactions for the branch, from large corporate clients to all local livestock, Ms Speers plays an integral role within the Company. Ms Speers is also a member of the Safety Action Team, the Company’s national uniform committee and has completed Elders’ Future Leaders course.

Ms Speers has assisted a range of community and branch projects with the team and says she is honored to have won the overall award.

“The Tumut-Adelong team has been an amazing support for me in the expansion of my role and I couldn’t have been involved in so many great projects without them backing me up.”

“In combination with some extremely talented and passionate senior sales support officers out there in our Southern Zone, we are building some really useful tools and important support networks for our SSO groups, she said.”

Southern zone general manager, Malcolm Hunt says, “Hannah’s focus on training, keeping everyone informed and working as a team has had a huge impact on not only Elders’ employees within the area, but also the wider community.”

“Hannah’s contributions certainly don’t go unnoticed and she is very deserving of the One Elders Award and recognition.”

All recipients of the Company’s monthly national One Elders Awards travelled to Adelaide for the annual dinner hosted by the Elders board and executive committee.
