Broken Hill branch amongst top in the country
Elders Broken Hill has been nationally recognised for their outstanding commitment to clients, winning Elders’ Branch of the Year Award for its southern zone and also securing a nomination for Elders’ national Branch of the Year Award.
Headed by branch manager Ben Finch, the Elders Broken Hill branch has built a well-respected business through its hard working staff who share values of honesty and integrity and possess an overarching focus on exceptional client outcomes.
Mr Finch says that all of his staff take pride in acting with integrity in their business dealings.
“Operating a business with integrity doesn’t always allow us to take the easy option, but ensures that we’re always offering the most value to our clients,” says Mr. Finch.
“This gives us the ability to form long-term partnerships with our clients and deliver outstanding sales results,” he says.
Elders Broken Hill’s last financial year reflects a strong client following who trust and rely on the support of the branch to in their day to day operations.
Mr. Finch says that their 100 percent retention rate is a testament to the quality of his team
“Clients choose to stay with us because they know they can trust us to always act in their best interest, with good agency practices and high levels of honesty and integrity,” says Mr. Finch.
“When hiring within the branch it’s always a priority to identify people who will uphold our values – experience and skills can be built, but work ethic and a set of morals are essential,” he says.
This focus on hiring the right people has paid off dividends for the branch, with a number of staff being recognised in their own right for high performance.
Elders’ sales support officer Hayley Brown, received a national sales performance award this year for her ability to build strong customer relationships, and wool sales manager Lachlan Sutton, was awarded National council of wool selling brokers of Australia and Fairfax Media’s 2016 Wool Broker of the Year.
Elders general manager for its southern zone, Malcolm Hunt, says that the Broken Hill team’s recognition is a reflection of their commitment to the Company’s values.

Representatives from the Broken Hill branch will attend the annual One Elders awards night dinner in Adelaide in recognition of their efforts and to hear the announcement of the national winner.
