Elders and CSBP reach agreement

CSBP and Elders today announced an agreement for Elders to distribute fertiliser as a CSBP agent.

CSBP Fertilisers’ General Manager, Charlie Perkins said that the company was pleased to have reached the agreement, which he believed would help deliver high-quality products and services to its customers.

“Our agents, including Elders, play an important role in helping us to deliver competitively-priced, high-quality products and services that meet the needs of our customers,” Mr Perkins said.

“Continuing to have a local presence, through both our area managers and local agents, was an important part of our decision to engage with Elders,” he said.

“Even though our channel to market has changed slightly, our focus hasn’t – we remain committed to delivering innovative solutions, services, locally-developed fertiliser products, which have been developed for WA conditions based on ongoing field research, and providing great customer service.”

Elders’ General Manager – West, James Cornish, said that the company was very excited to once again be able to offer CSBP products and services to Elders’ WA customer base.

“CSBP are a fantastic company with a long and successful history in the WA fertiliser industry and, as the largest player in this space, CSBP complements our existing range of quality suppliers,” Mr Cornish said.

“We see CSBP’s products as a natural fit within our offering to our WA customer base, which Elders backs up with a high level of on-farm agronomic and technical support,” he said.

CSBP’s local manufacturing facilities, based in Kwinana, are supported by over 35 regional sales representatives, four regional distribution centres and five depots located across WA.

Since 1971 CSBP has provided a comprehensive soil and plant analysis service, supported since 2001 by the NUlogic interpretation model, at its world renowned soil and plant laboratory based in Bibra Lake. The laboratory is the largest of its kind in Australia and is at the forefront of soil and plant testing.

CSBP’s fertiliser will continue to be available through its independent agents, as normal. If customers would like more information on their options, they can talk to their local CSBP area manager or Elders farm supplies representative who can outline the range of options available.
