Elders at Beef21- day one
The gates are open and what a day it’s been!
The crowds have been out in full and they’ve loved all that’s been on offer at Beef Australia 2021.
We’ve had thousands of people through the Elders Pavilion, talking to our event partners and collecting their cattle canes when making a donation to the RFDS.
Commercial Cattle Championship official opening
One of the highlights of day one has to be the opening of the Commercial Cattle Championship and sale at the Central Queensland Livestock Exchange (CQLX) located at Grassmere. There were a total of 1,568 head of cattle across both the grain-fed and grass-fed categories.

Announcement of Champions
Congratulations to Cliff and Sasha at Needmor Droughmasters on winning Champion Grass Fed Bullocks at today’s Commercial Cattle Championships. The pen was a superb line of magnificent cattle. We’re proud to say Elders Stud Stock Agent Adam Geddes is their marketing agent too!
