Holbrook Pasture Field Day

The Holbrook Pasture Field Day showed off more of our technical expertise this month, with Peter Emerson (agronomist Albury) organising a great information day for over 60 clients and fellow agronomists, from Euroa to Deniliquin to Cowra and Gundagai.

The day focused on demonstrating pasture mixes, different fertiliser applications and different ag-chem applications in action. Fanstastic work by the team for organising, representing the brand and working hard to add value to clients on a regular basis.

Give It: Golf Day for Charity

We are so proud of the community engagement we see across the network within Eldes. This month, teams from Leongatha and Korrumburra organised a Charity Golf Day which raised $16,000 for two local families affected by paediatric brain cancer and a rare blood condition.

Thank you to everyone involved for your generous donations and taking the time to give back to your communities.

Tail End Charlie still chugging along

Tail End Charlie, the tractor taking on Australia for cancer and sponsored by Elders, has almost finished its trip around the country. Thank you to all of the teams within the network who organised events.

Elders Keith  cooked the complementary BBQ, passed the hat around and raffled off five meat trays to raise some funds for this worthy cause. The public’s generosity was topped up by a donation from the Keith Hotel Motel publican and Elders Keith threw in their $250 prize money from the Keith Country Fair farmer’s challenge to raise over $1,100.

In Echuca, Tail End Charlie was warmly welcomed by the branch despite the wet weather. Thank you to the team – read about their generosity here.
