Hay Field Day
This month Elders Hay held a store day as a means of showing clients that this location has moved on from the recent challenges it faced. Thanks to the hard work of Kurt Wood, farm supplies sales manager, and Fiona Cooper, SSO, who organised the event and sought input from the Elders zone team and suppliers, the Elders hay branch pulled off a very successful day engaging with clients. Congratulations and well done to the team.
RFDS visit
CEO Mark Allison and GM of People Innovation and Brand, Karen Ross, visited the Royal Flying Doctor Service base in Adelaide this month for Give It, gaining insight into the operations and how the organisation helps people in rural communities across Australia.
Photographed here with Charlie Paterson from the RFDS, the visit cemented the close relationship that Elders has and intends to develop with the organisation into the future.
Oakden Hills record prices
Elders clients, the Nutt family, recently received record prices for their wool clip in in the Melbourne sales. With the help of Alice Wilsden, pictured here with the Nutt’s and Elders area manager – South Jason Kirk, the family received on average 1023 cents/ kg, sweeping the board.
The family have been farming for over 120 years, with their recent result demonstrating the value of successful, long-term pasture management and talent of our team at Port Augusta.
