Out and About: June 2017 - Elders Rural Services

Hay Field Day

This month Elders Hay held a store day as a means of showing clients that this location has moved on from the recent challenges it faced. Thanks to the hard work of Kurt Wood, farm supplies sales manager, and Fiona Cooper, SSO, who organised the event and sought input from the Elders zone team and suppliers, the Elders hay branch pulled off a very successful day engaging with clients. Congratulations and well done to the team.

Oakden Hills record prices

Elders clients, the Nutt family, recently received record prices for their wool clip in in the Melbourne sales. With the help of Alice Wilsden, pictured here with the Nutt’s and Elders area manager – South Jason Kirk, the family received on average 1023 cents/ kg, sweeping the board.

The family have been farming for over 120 years, with their recent result demonstrating the value of successful, long-term pasture management and talent of our team at Port Augusta.
