Parkes technology site brings global insights to local farmers

Local farmers will receive the latest in global crop research and technology insights with the launch of the Elders technology demonstration site at Parkes.

The site, which will be launched on Friday, 28 September at 11am, is one of five sites established in conjunction with supplier partners to demonstrate and trial agricultural chemicals and applications, along with seed varieties and fertiliser practices.

Elders National Technical Services Manager – Agronomy, Graham Page said that the sites will demonstrate advances in ag chemical and seed products.

“Elders aims to help clients improve their productivity and these trial sites across the country will provide national data which we can use to help growers and make better decisions”, Mr Page said.
