Our October winners of the One Elders Awards for demonstrating exceptional performance across sales, operations and safety are Jack Li, Georgia Lawrie and Kimberly Agars.
One Elders Sales Performance Award
Jack Li, Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, China, has been awarded the One Elders Sales Performance Award
Jack won the One Elders Sales Performance Award for his proactive approach to growing the Elders China retail channel and for increasing sales into hotels and restaurants throughout China. As a small team, Jack’s leadership has led them to respond effectively to a rapidly developing market, leveraging new and innovative ideas, such as identifying market demand for secondary products not previously available through the retail channel.
Commenting on the challenges of growing a retail channel in a rapidly developing market, Jack said, “We found it had a lot of potential…and it’s important we’re always changing and have a culture where everyone’s ideas are listened to.”
Jack says that it’s a team effort and enjoys sharing his achievements and passing on his supply chain knowledge to help others to progress. Jack attributes his success to, and wishes to thank, his team members, for enabling him to dedicate time to the retail business, as well as other communication and efficiency improvement initiatives.
“It’s a real honour to be recognised for my contribution, and I’m really happy to have the chance to come to Australia to represent Elders China.”

Georgia Lawrie, Farm Supplies Sales Representative, Narrogin, has been awarded the One Elders Operational Performance Award
Georgia won the One Elders Operational Performance Award for responding to the operational needs of the Narrogin area in changing times. With the opening of the Elders Darkan, as well as acquisitions and new staff members joining the teams, Georgia takes pride in training others and developing relationships to help their transition to Elders be as seamless as possible.
Georgia enjoys being able to work across various areas of the Elders business as needed. Recently, over the past couple of seasons by helping the Sales Support Officer teams to run the office and conduct some of the ram and sheep sales.
On her approach to team work and providing ongoing support to her team members, Georgia said,
“It’s been challenging but very rewarding seeing the new staff members grow over the time and become confident in their abilities, as well as seeing new and continued business flow into these stores.”
One Elders Safety Performance Award
Kimberly Agars, Support Officer Farm Supplies, Narrogin, has been awarded the One Elders Safety Performance Award
Kimberly won the One Elders Safety Performance Award for making the most of a subject that can often be misunderstood. Kimberly’s effort, as a Safety Officer and member of the Safety Action Team, is driven by people – helping people to better understand the rules and regulations, to make the process easier for them to follow and ultimately to help the Narrogin area.
Kimberly ensures that her colleagues are reminded about relevant safety points and activity, particularly during high-risk conditions, such as wet weather and the use of velcro straps to secure drums onto pallets. A new relationship with Fire Power Australia led Kimberly to further her own understanding of safety needs, which then helped her to dive into ‘everything safety’, when setting up the new Darkan and Pingelly branches.
Kimberly is proud of everyone who wears a pink shirt and speaks highly of the internal Elders resources and people with knowledge of safety practices, “…colleagues really gave me confidence in knowing that even if I didn’t understand everything I had the tools and resources to find out.”
