Winter Cropping
Through technical demonstration sites the Elders Agronomy team present technical information from the latest research, extension and industry programs.
Winter crops are annual crops sown in autumn and are harvested in spring or summer. Winter crops commonly include cereals such as wheat, barley, oats and triticale; oilseeds such as canola and pulses such as lupins, chickpeas, fababeans and fieldpeas.
Important note: Results from individual trial sites should not be used to make conclusions on variety performance. Speak to your local agronomists today or expert advice.
