“ I’ve found this to be the best experience…..You learn so much off so many people.
Looking back on my time now as a trainee it certainly has been the best decision I’ve made”

“I think the Elders traineeship is best thing I have done”

“anyone who is serious about becoming an agent should consider this program as it exposes you to all aspects of the industry as well as exposing you to industry experts”

“I think the broad experiences and opportunities that the trainees have access to is second to none.”

“ The trainee program that I have been a part of is one of the best ones running Australia wide. The best part of the program is moving around and meeting new people. This helps you see and experience parts of the business that you would not have had the opportunity to learn without moving.”

“The Elders trainee program is set up for you to succeed and the Elders people are there to help you through the program. The past year of the traineeship has gone very fast, and I learn something new every day. I have been based at some very different branches. The practical hands on learning has made this course extremely rewarding. The mentors that guide you through makes you appreciate the company and all the hard work they put towards trainees. It is a big learning curve and there isn’t a day that you don’t learn anything.”

“The traineeship prepared me for my current role by offering me experience in many different places and situations. I was given the opportunity to learn many aspects of the business from various people with different skill sets. The workshops and other training courses that the traineeship provided me were invaluable in getting me ready for my current position. I would strongly suggest anyone with a keen interest in making a career in this industry to apply for a position as this traineeship has been the most rewarding experience of my life”

“The Trainee program in my eyes is great, young people are able to work with experienced people in the business, get to meet a massive network of people, and get the training that they need to be a good agent.”

“After finishing high school I spent a year working at Iffley station and from there I worked at Charlton feedlot for nearly 2 years before applying for an Elders Traineeship.
I am originally from Bairnsdale but have now enjoyed spending
time in Mareeba and am now based in far-north Queensland at Charters Towers. I am really enjoying the work and the guidance from the team at Elders.”
