Elders Agronomists build and maintain strong relationships with clients to help them create a successful, sustainable and productive business for this season and the next.  

As an agronomist you will work closely with the branch team to provide clients with agronomic technical advice, products and services that help Elders clients thrive.

Branch Manager


Elders Branch Managers are entrusted to manage all aspects of branch operations and lead the branch team to achieve growth and exceed earning targets.

With the support of an experienced network you will use your expert team management skills to empower branch sales and administration team members while maintaining strong relationships with clients and the community.

Corporate roles


Elders is an ASX200 listed company with a corporate head office in Adelaide that supports over 400 locations Australia wide.

Opportunities are available for those qualified in the areas of:

  • IT
  • Finance  and analytics
  • Marketing
  • Law
  • Administration.



Our Our livestock roles include Territory Sales, Stud Stock Specialists and Livestock Production including specialist animal health services.

You’ll be working with clients to help them achieve maximum productivity and also to help them buy, sell and market their livestock through traditional or online auctions, forward contracts or direct to processor.

Property Manager


Elders Property Managers look after a portfolio of properties and generate growth through client relationships and cultivating new opportunities.

You’ll be managing and maintaining a vendors most important asset and use the latest technology and systems to tenant selection, collecting rent, and finalising tenancy.

Real Estate Sales Rep


Elders Real Estate Sales Representatives drive listing and selling opportunities to expand our real estate business by building client relationships and proactive marketing.

With the backing of the Elders network, you’ll be supported to grow your career within the residential, lifestyle, rural or commercial markets.

Rural products roles


Rural Products Sales roles work within the branch and on farm, providing expert product knowledge and customer service skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and promote products that strengthen their businesses.

Sales Support Officer


Elders Sales Support Officers are the first people our clients interact with at an Elders branch so expert customer service and ability to build rapport is a must.

Operating as the backbone of the branch, you’ll also support the sales team’s work building relationships with clients. It’s a great base on which to grow your career with Elders.



Our wool team is focused on delivering effective and innovative products and services, alongside the most comprehensive range of selling options for our clients.

You’ll be providing sales and marketing expertise to help clients achieve the maximum results and returns from their wool. Roles include District Managers, Sales Managers and Technical Officers.

Elders traineship and graduate programs

In addition to the roles about Elders offers two programs specifically designed for the next generation.

Livestock Trainee Program

Designed by successful sales leaders, the Elders Stock and Station Trainee program provides practical and realistic training to the next generation of agents.

There’s no limit to where the program could take you. Some of the roles our with former trainees have found include Branch Manager, Rural Products Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Livestock Manager and State Livestock Manager.

Managed by the Thomas Elder Institute, the Elders Graduate Agronomy Program has been specifically designed by our agronomy experts, to provide excellent career opportunities within Australia’s iconic agribusiness organisation.

The two-year tailored program involves the opportunity to work across multiple locations in Australia, providing exposure to a variety of cropping segments.
