Elders Bendigo named national branch of the year

Elders Bendigo has been awarded Elder’s national Branch of the Year award for 2015.

Recognised for demonstrating Elders’ values, the branch was awarded for its customer-focus, teamwork, and innovation, through new initiatives aimed at adding significant value for their clients.

Elders CEO, Mark Allison, said that the branch was a consistently high performer who again have shown how to incorporate company values in everyday business to achieve great results for clients.

“Customer focus is a real priority for Elders and one of the key drivers behind any initiative we introduce in the business,” Mr Allison said.

“Bendigo have demonstrated the way innovation in customer service can pay off to create real results and long-lasting benefits for clients” he said.

One such initiative was the establishment of an internal leadership group who were encouraged to contribute ideas about optimising client interaction.

Working collaboratively is considered a contributing factor to the branches success in delivering consistently high quality service to long-term customers, according to branch manager Todd Brown.

“We pride ourselves on being a team who are actively involved in the local community. We focus on putting ourselves in the shoes of our customers to ensure we understand their drivers and needs and can then deliver the best outcome for them,” Mr Brown said.

“We understand the importance of building trustworthy relationships and maintaining constant communication with our customers, and the internal leadership group helps us to really focus on this section of the business.”

“The aim is to always add value to our clients by adopting new practices and adapting to changes in the rural landscape.”

Bendigo were successful amongst more than 200 branches Australia-wide for the second time in three years.
