Elders Manjimup awarded Branch of the Year 2011

The HON Terry Redman MLA, Member for Blackwood Stirling and Minister for Agriculture and Food and Elders CEO Malcolm Jackman were among the guests of honour at the celebration held at Elders Manjimup on Tuesday 6 March in recognition of the branch winning the 2011 Elders ‘Pink Shirt’ Branch of the Year award.
Distinguished guests included Manjimup Shire President Cr Wade DeCampo and Manjimup Shire CEO Jeremy Hubble attended along with local clients, and Elders Western Zone General Manager James Cornish.

Elders Manjimup was selected from over 250 branches in Australia and New Zealand for their high levels of performance in safety and sales and their demonstration of the Elders values.
Regional Manager, Chris Puckridge says that the national award represents the value of working together as a team and understanding your client and the local market.
“Elders Manjimup is a great team who work really well together. The staff have over 220 years of combined service in the region and have strong relationships with their clients and suppliers because of the passion they share about the district and about agriculture,” Mr Puckridge said.
Elders CEO Malcolm Jackman presented the branch with the award and said that the team at Manjimup demonstrate values that have been a part of Elders’ history for nearly 175 years.

“Winning the ‘Pink Shirt’ Branch of the Year award is a fantastic result for the Manjimup branch and with over 250 Elders branches Australia-wide this award is a credit to the team who must be congratulated on their impressive performance,” Malcolm said.
“Elders is a company that prides itself on providing the best possible service to its clients and this award recognises how the Manjimup branch have amply demonstrated that this is a priority to them,” Malcolm said.

Branch Manager Shannon Macdonald says the client night was a great success and that he, with the Manjimup team, is thrilled to have won the award, adding that it is not every day you get recognised for your hard work. “We are very proud to win this award as it acknowledges not only the great team here in the branch but also our very loyal and dedicated clients who make our jobs so rewarding,” Mr Macdonald said.
“The client night gave us an opportunity to share the award with the people in the region that have helped Manjimup become the branch it is today,” Mr Macdonald said.
“Everyone who attended had a great time and it was nice to catch up with the community outside the office,” Mr Macdonald said.
