Elders Bathurst’s Rob Haynes wins sales award

Agri Finance Manager Robert Haynes, has been awarded the national One Elders Sales Performance award in recognition of his ability to build strong relationships with clients and a develop a good reputation in his district for quality service.

Having been with the business for four years now, Mr Haynes says that his recent success has been an outcome of steady growth in client base and commitment to sustaining relationships with his customers.

“Each year is better than the last for me, and I think this is a result of maintaining a good relationship with my clients, ensuring they have a good experience the first time, and always staying in contact to help them when they might need it,” says Mr Haynes.

“The more you take care of your clients, the more they’ll be happy to bring their business to you and refer your work to others which is the best way to achieve growth.”

Mr Haynes says that building a good reputation is important to secure referrals from within his own area.

“I endevour to have a good relationship with the network in my district, and getting positive feedback from Elders clients makes them comfortable to refer me to help their clients – they know they can trust me to work towards a good outcome.”

He says that working within the Elders network provides a significant advantage for him because he’s closer to what’s going on in the industry.

“I think our real point of difference for customers is that we spend a lot less time on red tape and procedure, and more time working with our teams to understand what’s going on in the industry and how we can find solutions for our clients,” he says.

“We understand farming culture and our farming clients, which is an advantage when trying to help them.”

North Zone Agri Finance Manager, Mark Pain, says that Mr Haynes is a trusted professional whose consistent hard work is paying off.

“Robert has great support from his team in Goulburn who assist him to work to a very high standard. This support combined with his work ethic, have built him a strong portfolio and rapport with clients over the last few years,” says Mr Pain.

“He is a deserving winner and I’m pleased that his efforts are being recognised.”

In recognition of his award within the business, Mr Haynes will be invited to attend the annual One Elders awards night in December with the opportunity to win the overall sales performance award for 2017.
