Rickard recognised for sixth year in a row

Elders Rural Real Estate Sales Specialist, Rob Rickard has been recognised at the Victorian Elders Real Estate Awards as Salesperson of the Year for the sixth consecutive year, as well as taking out a swag of other awards.

Held in Melbourne, the Company’s real estate awards recognise top performers, outstanding new talent and showcase strong teams, whilst providing networking opportunities and a chance to learn from each other.

Having been with Elders Real Estate since 1994 and servicing the Camperdown and Mortlake region, Mr Rickard attributes his success to offering a high level of service to clients within his community and the support he receives from the wider Elders network.

He says that being part of a large network with a range of product offerings helps to deliver a better result for clients.

“I owe a lot of my knowledge to my local and national colleagues who I’ve learnt from over the years,” said Mr Rickard.

“Being part of such an extensive network is a real strength. It means I have access to specialist advice from all product areas whether it be livestock, agronomy, or finance, which gives the edge when advising clients,” he said.

“Property is a significant investment and people gravitate towards an agent who can offer knowledge about the local area and work collaboratively with them to achieve the result they’re looking for in their business.”

Elders Real Estate general manager, Tom Russo speaks highly of Mr Rickard’s strong work ethic and willingness to evolve and learn in order to better service his clients.

“Rob is a consistently high performing agent who demonstrates the value of investing time and energy into improving his own practical skills and product knowledge.”

“By ensuring he has a comprehensive understanding of his clients, his community and changes within the market, he creates confidence within his clients and is able to deliver exceptional results,” Mr Russo said.

Mr Rickard admits that the real estate industry has changed considerably since starting in 1994 but that clients remain the central focus.

“Technology is changing so quickly opening up new avenues and opportunities to communicate with our clients and sell products,” said Mr Rickard.

“At the end of the day though, real estate is a personal purchase and a major investment,”

“You can’t beat good old fashioned face to face contact and you can’t underestimate the power of building and maintaining strong, sustainable relationships.”

Mr Rickard also took out the Rural Salesperson of the Year for 2016 and was recognised in the Elite Sales Performers. Elders Elite Agents must exceed strict criteria to qualify for Elite status, Victoria’s Elite included:
